We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. i like how this photo has an old timey feel to it with the muted colors. love the crop and composition. i for sure like the nose ring, as well as the glasses & smoke... it adds character and personality and an outside the box kind of feel to portraiture.
And no offense taken at all, I appreciate the honesty. I just think when critiquing you need to defend your statements and explain why and how you think something could be improved. A statement like, "The nose ring destroys the picture," isn't very helpful.
