I adore your black and white toning. Quite often it's hard to get it looking so nice with digital but this is really amazing. I am not the most excited about that cigarette in her hand, I really don't like smoking (aside from when portraits where the smoke is coming out) but I do love how it extends out into what would otherwise be predictably negative space. His expression is also very engaging - lovely work! You're so consistent in your portfolio, it's very hard to say anything bad about your recent stream of art.

The more I work in the darkroom and experiment with different papers and chemicals, the more I get frustrated with trying to create a decent digital b&w. So thank you for the compliment, that's encouraging!

I had considered cloning the cigarette out since it seemed like a pointless prop without smoke or anything, but then I didn't know if her arm would seem to hang out too awkwardly without it....?
